ABC Musik & Me classes conducted in Spanish and English!

General Information on the ABC Music & Me Spanish program created by Kindermusik:

Spanish version of ABC Music & Me  - can be used as an ELL (English Language Learners) program

Ages 2-4

Ages 4-6

Class will be presented in English and Spanish. Here are the components that help make this possible:

For Families:

• Spanish version of magazine-style Family Guide
  
• Spanish text on outside jacket of CD and CD platter (songs on CD in English)
  

For Educators

• Vocabulary Picture Cards
  
• ELL Supplemental Booklet
  
• Downloadable weekly-home pages available in Spanish
  

ABC Music & Me in both Spanish & English: Family & Friends & Home Sweet Home

Ages: 2-4 (Parent-Child) * a 4-6 unit may be offered this summer or can be upon request

Sessions: 8, 45 minutes

Instructor: Monard

Cost: 8 classes=$120 plus a $35 materials fee due the first class

Day/Time: Thursday 3:30-4:15 AND Saturday 9:30-10:15 & 10:30-11:15 & 11:30-12:15

Dates: Tues. 1/22-3/12 AND Sat. 1/24-2/28

Class size: 5 min/12 max (Parent-Child)

Description: Come explore ABC in a whole new way! Each class will be presented by a bilingual teacher in both English and Spanish and is designed to help you learn another language and have fun! Our children learn best where s/he’s most comfortable—at home. So we’ll use this nurturing theme to turn our Home Sweet Home and Friends & Family classroom into a pretend house. Through music, movement, finger plays, ASL, instrument and parachute play, and role plays, come experience what different kinds of houses animals make—from spider webs to bird’s nests! Home Materials Include: 2 Literature Family Magazines, 2 Home CDs, and an egg shaker instrument.
